Post a job in Israel, free

Your position goes live on the board immediately and is matched against our candidate pool. If you have no Israeli entity, we can also employ the person you hire, so a posting can become a lawful hire without you registering a company here.

AI summary · Post a Job in Israel · FreeClick to read the page summary

Posting a position on NETO's board is free · the ad goes live immediately, is matched against the candidate pool, and applications reach you by email and in your employer area. An assistant turns a few plain words into a proper listing, and every ad is checked automatically so unlawful wording about age, gender, military service, family status, religion or origin is removed before it goes live. Salaries in Israel are quoted gross · the real outlay is roughly 18% higher once pension, severance and employer national insurance are counted. With no Israeli entity, NETO can become the legal employer under licence 1565.

How posting works

The posting form itself is in Hebrew, because that is the language the candidates read. It takes a few minutes, and there is an assistant that writes the ad for you.

1
Describe the role, or paste an ad you already have

Write a few words in plain language and the assistant turns them into a proper listing: title, description, requirements and screening questions. If the ad already exists somewhere else, paste it whole and it will be split into the right fields.

2
It is checked against Israel's Equal Employment Opportunities Law

Requirements about age, gender, military service, family status, religion or origin are unlawful in an Israeli job ad. Every listing is checked automatically and such wording is removed before it goes live, so a posting cannot expose you.

3
It goes live and starts matching

The position appears on the board immediately, and candidates already in our pool who fit it are notified. Applications reach you by email and in your employer area.

4
Hire, and we can employ them for you

If you have an Israeli entity, hire directly. If you do not, NETO becomes the legal employer: payslips, deductions, pension and reporting, while the person works for you.

What a hire actually costs in Israel

Salaries here are quoted gross. The real outlay is roughly 18% higher once pension, severance and the employer's national insurance are counted.

Gross salaryNet to the employeeYour total costMarkup
₪9,000₪7,538₪10,57117.5%
₪12,000₪9,456₪14,17418.1%
₪16,000₪11,929₪18,97818.6%
₪25,000₪16,834₪29,78719.1%

Includes employer pension contributions, the severance component and employer national insurance. Excludes recuperation pay, travel allowance and optional benefits. Full detail and a calculator on the tax brackets page.

Hiring from outside Israel

This is the part that usually stops a foreign company: you found the right person, and then discover you cannot legally pay them without a local entity.

No company registration

You do not open an Israeli entity, a tax file or a bank account. NETO is already the registered employer.

One invoice, everything handled

Payslips, income tax, national insurance, pension and reporting to the authorities are all done here. You receive a single monthly invoice.

The worker is protected

They are a salaried employee with full Israeli rights, not a contractor invoicing you. That protects them, and it protects you from a misclassification claim.

Worth knowing before you hire here: paying someone in Israel as a "contractor" when the work is really employment is a recognised legal risk. Israeli courts look at the substance of the relationship, not the paperwork, and can retroactively grant employee status along with the rights that come with it. Employing properly from the start costs about 18% above the salary and removes that exposure entirely.

Questions and answers

Is posting really free?

Yes. Posting a position costs nothing and there is no limit tied to it. NETO earns only when it actually employs someone for you.

The posting form is in Hebrew. Can I still use it?

Yes, and it is designed to need very little typing: a guided flow asks one question at a time, and an assistant writes the listing from a few words. If you would rather we set it up for you, write to neto@neto.work and we will post it on your behalf.

Can I post in English?

You can write the listing in English, and it will appear as written. Bear in mind that most candidates on the board read Hebrew, so a role that does not require English will usually get more applications when the ad is in Hebrew.

What may I not ask for in an Israeli job ad?

Requirements or preferences based on age, gender, military service, family status, pregnancy, parenthood, religion, nationality or origin are prohibited under the Equal Employment Opportunities Law. Job ads must also be phrased in both grammatical genders. Our system checks every listing and corrects or blocks wording that does not comply.

Where do I see the candidates?

Every application appears in your employer area at neto.live, with the CV and the answers to your screening questions, and you also get an email for each one.

Do I have to employ through NETO to post?

No. Posting is open and free whether or not you employ through us. If you do have an Israeli entity, you can hire directly.

Last updated: 13 August 2026. NETO has employed people and issued payslips in Israel since 2016 under manpower contractor licence 1565.

Please note: this page provides general information and is not legal advice. The binding texts are Israeli labour law, the Equal Employment Opportunities Law and the authorities' instructions.
